welcome! I'm a painter working in East London.

my work is inspired by colour, material experimentation, and the uniqueness of facial characteristics and expressions. I love using a close-up composition of the face, as it helps focus on the essence of the subject. Rather than pursuing a realistic style, my aim is to capture the likeness and spirit of the individual. It all started with a spontaneous portrait of my cat, Frances. here she is:
